A Baby Threads volunteer  is gathering small afghans in dark colors – lap size – to be sent to our troops in Afghanistan.  We have donated 20 to her project so far and more are in the construction stage.  These must be small as the soldiers have very little space for personal items.  She said that when her husband was in Iraq he appreciated the feel of home that the small afghan gave and he saw how much they meant to all the men who got them.
